Ravangla or Rawangla or Ravongla is a small tourist destination situated at a rise of 8000 ft in the South Sikkim. It is connected by public highway to other significant towns in the state and lies among Pelling and Gangtok. It goes about as the beginning stage for the journey to Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary. It is roughly 65 km away from the state capital Gangtok and 120 km away from Siliguri, West Bengal.
Places to visit in Ravangla are Buddha Park, Bon Monastery, Ralang Monastery, Temi Tea Estate, and Ravangla Market.
From Ravangla the next destination is Namchi, 78 km from Gangtok, Namchi, actually deciphering as ‘top of the sky’ is the South area central command and quick rising as a tourist destination. Set in a beautiful area, Namchi offers an unrivaled perspective on the Kanchenjunga extend and the Rangit valley. Here you can visit the Sherdup Choeling Monastery and the Dichen Choeling religious community. Around 2 km from Namchi is the old Ngadak religious community which is presently being revamped.
